I was very disappointed today when i watched you interview Daniel Smith. I thought that you might be unbiased, but you were obviously hostile towards her. So, please let me answer some of your questions;
1) Who are you to interfere with the way people raise their children?
Answer: All provincial governments in Canada operate an office called “Child Protective Services. The mandate of that office is is to protect children from harm that comes from adults. The premier is just doing her job.
2) Why do you start at such a basic right of children.\
Answer: There are a number of things that adults can do and which may be considered basic human rights. For example, buying and drinking alcohol, buying or smoking tobacco products, or driving a car before a certain age. In some instances, the parent or parents of a child might want their child to be able to do those things but they represent some significant danger, so they are prohibited.
As a proponent of the LGBTQ2+ community, i think you did well today. However, as a journalist, you failed miserably.
